Cindy retired from the Alachua County Library District in 11/2022 after 38.5 years of dedicated service, but please don’t judge this book by her cover! Cindy likes to be social and is willing to meet up for ribbon cuttings, member events, lunches and/or happy hours!

Her career spanned many departments and locations, including the OG Gainesville Public Library (now Gainesville City Hall housed at the “Old Library Building''), many years in the Adult Services (Reference Dept.) at Headquarters, 6 years at the Newberry Branch, and 6 years at the Library Partnership Branch down the street from Howard Bishop Middle School. If you have visited any of these locations, you've already met Cindy.

She has served as a board member of the Newberry Chamber, and in 2016 she won Chamber Member of the Year! Cindy hopes to become a chamber “diplomat” after her first year with the GNV Chamber.
