Position Summary: The Donor Care Coordinator has a primary role in the day-to-day operation of the advancement department. Key responsibilities include donor data entry, donor stewardship coordination, and fielding phone calls and emails from donors and volunteers. The Donor Care Coordinator reports to the Director of Advancement.

- Coordinate existing development programs and initiatives in collaboration with the Director of Advancement
- Input all donor gifts (cash and in-kind) into the donor database (Bloomerang) within the first 24-48 hours of receiving the gift and sending appropriate donor acknowledgment that fulfills IRS requirements
- Coordinate donor stewardship program by assigning stewardship tasks to the CEO and Director of Advancement as appropriate
- Manage the donor database and conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure maintenance of quality data standards
- Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls - Answering, screening, and forwarding emails sent to general email inboxes
- Provide tours of the GRACE campus to groups and individuals
- Provide monthly fund and campaign reports to the Director of Advancement
- Collaborate with the other members of the advancement team to solicit silent auction items for the Farm to Table Gathering to End Homelessness
- Assist in the coordination and execution of all GRACE events, including but not limited to Battle of the Bands, Fall Luncheon, and Farm to Table Gathering to End Homelessness
- Field phone calls from prospective volunteers and volunteer groups to match them to appropriate volunteer opportunities
- Provide support to volunteers including showing them to their assigned areas and checking in with them during their shift
- Work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to steward and cultivate members of the Café 131 Club and identify prospective members.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Advancement
Qualifications:
- Experience working in fundraising, managing donor stewardship, and donor database management is a plus
- Experience working in homeless services is a plus
- Enthusiastic, excited, and capable of managing multiple projects to meet goals.
- Great with attention to detail, follow-through, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive and creative disposition to generate new ideas and strategies that help build a dynamic and compelling fundraising program.
- Superior organizational and communication skills (written & oral)
- Ability to interact with all persons in a professional manner, encompassing behavior, dress, language, and attitude.
- Ability to work evenings, occasional weekends, and some holidays.
Physical Demands:
