Role Overview
Raia is opening a new office in Gainesville, FL at the UF Innovate I The Hub to connect with top student talent at the University of Florida and grow a local hub of innovation. The Head of raia Labs will be the first full-time team member at this location and will play a critical leadership role in recruiting, training, and managing a team of student-employees.
This is an entrepreneurial role suited for someone passionate about Al, startups, and community building. You will be the face of raia in Gainesville—leading operations, building relationships with UF and the local tech ecosystem, and helping launch projects that showcase the power of Al Agents.

Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting & Team Building
- Attract, interview, and hire top UF students for part-time roles at raia Labs.
- Grow the team to 5 student-employees by year-end. Project Management
- Build strong connections with UF faculty, research centers, and student organizations involved in Al and technology e Represent raia at local tech events, meetups, and conferences.
- Onboard and train student-employees on how to use raia's platform to build and deploy Al agents.
- Mentor students on best practices for Al projects and professional growth.
- Manage the Gainesville office and day-to-day operations of raia Labs.
- Ensure student teams are aligned with company goals, hitting milestones, and delivering results.
- Work with students to design and launch Al projects that demonstrate raia's capabilities.
- Share insights with headquarters to influence product development and future initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or prior leadership experience preferred.
- Experience in team leadership, recruiting, or program management.
- Strong interest in Al, startups, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Lead the launch of a new innovation hub in Gainesville.
- Work directly with the CEO and leadership team to shape strategy.
- Build and mentor a pipeline of student talent passionate about Al.
- Be part of a company that is redefining how businesses create and scale an Al workforce.
