About Us
Beyond The Box Engineering (BTBE) designs and manufactures hands-on engineering lab kits that make STEM education more engaging and accessible. Our kits are used at the University of Florida and other institutions, giving students real-world, tactile experiences across engineering disciplines.

The Opportunity
We currently provide over 500 rental kits each Fall semester at UF. However, during Spring and Summer, a large portion of our kits sit idle. We’re seeking a motivated Sales Representative to help us expand year-round rentals by reaching out to colleges, universities, and STEM programs—both locally and nationally.

What You’ll Do
• Identify and contact potential partner schools, professors, and program coordinators who could benefit from using our kits.
• Build relationships with faculty and administrators to secure rental agreements.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects to ensure steady growth during Spring and Summer semesters.
• Collaborate with our team to tailor solutions that fit each institution’s curriculum needs.
• Track outreach and results to refine strategies.

What We’re Looking For
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Prior experience in sales, education, or customer outreach is a plus (but not required).
• Interest in STEM, education, or startups is a big bonus.
• Must be organized and persistent — this role is about building relationships over time.
