Job Title: Business Analytics/Marketing Intern

Position Description:
AltaScient is an innovative venture, providing data analytics and strategy insights for organization-wide initiatives at semiconductor and related manufacturing corporations. In the area of data analytics, our offerings include supply chain risk analytics, sustainability analytics and market analytics. We are looking to add a supporting role towards data extraction/analytics projects. This is a part-time position for 3 month, with potential for 6-moths.

Responsibilities:
 Provide support for data analytics projects with input from senior team
 Use data visualization tools, statistical tools and simulation/modeling approaches
 Support in collating data from multiple sources, follow our existing coding and guidelines
 Support marketing and business development efforts
 Complete project assignments within scope and timeline
 Document clearly steps taken and revisions for each project

Requirements Overview:
 BS in Engineering, Business, Information Systems or other analytical fields
 Overall, 6-24 months of experience, Aptitude for problem solving

Skills:
 Data visualization (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical tools/R/Python capabilities
 Experience in handling data in multiple formats including excel, csv, sql, html, text,..
 Ability for conducting market research and initial reach-out to potential clients
 Passionate about navigating through data and solving operational problems

Ability to work independently and with supervision with a proven record of meeting deadlines
