Tioga Town Center is so pleased to announce the beneficiary of the 2025 Tioga Town Center Charity Car Show Fundraiser; ElderCare of Alachua County's Meals on Wheels Program!

ElderCare offers congregate meal sites and home-delivered meals for seniors. Hot lunches are served at five congregate meal sites throughout Alachua County and a hot lunch is delivered to home-bound clients in Alachua County through their Meals on Wheels program as well.

"We are honored and deeply grateful to be selected as the 2025 Tioga Town Center Charity Car Show beneficiary. As a 100% grant- and donation-funded 501(c)3 nonprofit, ElderCare of Alachua County relies heavily on the generosity of community partners like Tioga Town Center to maximize delivery of vital services to seniors across our community. Our mission is to advocate for the elderly and their caregivers and to provide services that build capacity, maximize independence, and enrich the quality of life for the elderly in Alachua County. This partnership will help ensure that older adults in Alachua County have the support they need to age in place with dignity, purpose, and connection." said ElderCare of Alachua County leadership.

Each meal meets one-third of the recommended Federal Dietary Reference Intake/Adequate Intake (DRI/AI) for the senior age group, and the nutritional needs of the homebound senior. An added benefit to home meal deliveries is the personal contact provided by the volunteer or employee who delivers the meal.

"We're honored to support yet another fantastic organization in our community for this year's Charity Car Show," said Corin Ferrell, Senior Community Manager for Tioga Town Center and The Flats at Tioga Town Center. She continued "The need for these resources in our community is greater than ever, and we hope to continue creating impact in our region for those in need."

The Third Annual Tioga Town Center Charity Car Show Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, September 27th from 4-8pm. 100% of Vehicle Registration Fees will go directly to ElderCare of Alachua County's Meals on Wheels Program.

Please join us in creating impact for Alachua County! Sponsorship and Vendor opportunities are also available. As always, all Tioga Town Center events are free and open to the public.
