 Position Summary
This position is responsible for leading the maintenance team and participating in repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment; electrical; plumbing; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); carpentry; painting; and other building and manufacturing systems. 
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Schedule and lead day-to-day activities of the maintenance personnel using the internal maintenance management system.
  • Manage preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment and systems ensuring all PM tasks are completed and documented in a timely manner
  • Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for maintenance operations
  • Evaluate systems and facilities to determine maintenance or repairs required
  • Ensure reliable operation of machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Address and determine solutions for Safety Hazards
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)  

  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing equipment and building systems (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, electrical)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and delegate tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues; identify and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain schedules for building systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead groups effectively
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
 Education:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.  Will consider previous training and manufacturing experience equivalent in lieu of education requirement.
Other Duties:
  • May occasionally cross-train in other manufacturing departments.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but occasionally is elevated for short periods of time.
