Welder 

Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for a Welder to work in their Alachua, FL facility. You will be assembling large and heavy parts to complete subassemblies and drilling rigs using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment. Candidates must be able to pass a welding test. Let’s get to work.

Temp to perm position
Alachua, FL
Schedule: FT, M-F, 6:30am - 3pm
Salary: $19.00/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Check specification sheet to determine required assembly instructions

- MIG and TIG welding

- Check bins for adequate supplies

- Ensures connections for correct fit, parts, and sub-assemblies per specifications

- Resolve assembly problems

- Maintains a clean and safe work environment

- Other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school or GED preferred

- Must have welding experience

- Able to pass a welding test 

- Excellent troubleshooting skills 

- Knowledge of basic hand tools

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
