GatorCPR:
The Center for CPR and CNA Training provides American Heart Association and American Safety and Health Institute certification training to the North Central Florida Community. GatorCPR offers lay-rescuer CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, a 20-hour CNA Prep course and Level II LiveScan background screens. GatorCPR operates out of Gainesville and Ocala, FL. This position will work primarily at our Gainesville location.

Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR/AED classes and skills checkoffs weekly in accordance with AHA Guidelines and GatorCPR standards.
• Process Level II background checks for GatorCPR clients.
• Embody GatorCPR’s values of customer service, accountability, and consistency.
• Assist with CNA program operations including but not limited to hosting onboarding Zoom calls, responding to incoming emails, and preparing shipments.
• Perform routine office support tasks such as answering phones, managing basic clerical duties, and assisting with recycling and general upkeep
• A current AHA BLS Instructor or BLS Provider certification is not required for this position.

The ideal candidate:

• Has a reliable vehicle at all times ● Proficient in Google Products (Google Calendar, Gmail, etc.)
• Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds as part of regular job duties
• Can work well independently, self-starter
• Communicates effectively in both verbal and written word
• Confidently speaks and is engaging in front of small groups, providing clear concise instruction
• Provides, accepts, and applies constructive feedback to students, coworkers, and themselves
• Presents and conducts themselves in a professional manner
• Efficiently and respectfully works with a diverse population

Time Commitment:
Full Time, 40 hours a week Tuesday - Saturday 8:30am - 5:30pm (1 hr. lunch break each day)

Compensation:
$18/hr., starting. $20/hr., upon completion of training. $500/ month QSHERA reimbursement (after 90-day probationary period) 2 Weeks PTO, accrued hourly (after 90-day probationary period) Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel at $0.70/per mile
