Saving Lives at LifeSouth’s Pet Palooza
Mark your calendars- it’s a double life-saving event!
Join LifeSouth Community Blood Centers on Saturday, July 12, from 9am-2pm, at their 1221 NW 13 Street donor center for a family fun event. On hand will be adoptable dogs from the Humane Society of North Central Florida, Marion County Animal Services, Williston Animal Group and more. The Palooza will also feature a petting zoo, face painting, and food trucks. Pet Palooza is free and open to the public.
Blood donors will receive a free t-shirt. Double red and platelet donors will receive a $40 e-gift card.
Blood donors must be at least 17 (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. A photo ID is also required. For more information on donating blood, call toll-free 888-795-2707 or visit lifesouth.org.
