Shakespeare Animal Fund is hosting its FREE Holiday Costume Pet Pageant from 4-7 pm on Saturday, December 6th at Swamp Head Brewery, with even more activities and events for dog lovers than last year, and includes fun for the whole family.
Kick off the holidays with a festive afternoon at Swamp Head Brewery. Costume contest--including Small & Sensational, Most Creative and Best Ugly Holiday Sweater—offer fun prizes. Dog holiday art is a new added bonus. Pose with your pooch for a photo with Santa Claus and treat your dog to doggie games, including musical chairs. We’ve even got a face painter for the kids.
For the humans, there’s a HUGE silent auction (just right for holiday shopping) and a raffle to get your dog’s face on a batch of beer that Swamp Head will produce.
No admission cost; $15 for one costume entry or two for $25. The fun is free!
Shakespeare Animal Fund helps pay for emergency veterinary care in Alachua County for elderly, disabled, returning veterans and anyone who has a suffering or dying pet and can’t afford treatment
No one is ever asked to pay back the aid. Fundraisers like this one, help Shakespeare continue offering their services for free.
Come support a wonderful cause and bring your dogs for a great day out. If you don’t have pets, come watch the hilarity as celebrity judges, and Santa, pick costume winners, and participate in the always-popular “People’s Choice.”
